Cabaña Verónica, located in the Cantabrian area of the Picos de Europa National Park, has once again recorded the lowest temperature in the country so far today, at 5.7 degrees Celsius.
This place was already the coldest in Spain yesterday with a similar mark of 5.6 degrees. However, Saturday’s temperature was recorded during the night, specifically at 1:20 a.m., and Sunday’s at 8:10 a.m., according to data from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) consulted by Europa Press.
Thus, Cabaña Verónica tops the AEMET table with the 10 points in the country where the thermometers have recorded the coldest temperatures of the day, followed by other locations in Salamanca, Asturias, Ávila, Lérida, and Madrid.
Meanwhile, the highest temperatures have been concentrated mostly in Málaga, where they have exceeded 30ºC. Specifically, the highest mark was 32ºC at midnight in Vélez-Málaga.
