Lewandowski gave Poland the three points and was substituted with discomfort
England defeated Albania 2-0 on Friday in Thomas Tuchel’s first match as the manager of the ‘Three Lions’, while Robert Lewandowski continued his great moment by giving Poland the three points in the first round of the World Cup 2026 qualifying phase.

In Group G, Lewandowski secured the win for Poland at the PGE Narodowy (Warsaw) against a tough Lithuania side (1-0). A challenging match for the home team that was unlocked by the FC Barcelona striker in the 70th minute. However, the forward felt discomfort in the back of his right thigh and did not finish the match, posing a potential setback for his club.
