At the Pavelló Nou Congost, a three-pointer from Cameron Hunt sealed the comeback for the home team (82-81) with 41.1 seconds left. A subsequent three-point attempt by Bruno Fitipaldo hit the rim, and Cameron Hunt made two crucial free throws. With 18.1 seconds remaining, Tim Abromaitis missed another three-pointer.
Although Fitipaldo brought Laguna Tenerife within reach with a layup, a free throw by Emanuel Cate extended Manresa’s lead to +3. Manresa managed to defend their lead as Aaron Doornekamp’s last-second shot missed, denying Tenerife a chance to force overtime. Joventut claimed the sixth spot (20-14) with a 78-83 win over Unicaja de Málaga (4th, 23-11), who were already guaranteed a playoff spot. In the upcoming quarterfinals, Málaga will face Barcelona (5th, 21-13), who defeated Surne Bilbao Basket 68-85 (16th, 11-23).
The other known quarterfinal matchup will feature Real Madrid (1st, 30-4) against Saski Baskonia (8th, 19-15). In the final round, Madrid comfortably defeated Casademont Zaragoza 89-104 (12th, 13-21) on the road, while Baskonia won 101-105 against bottom-of-the-table Leyma Coruña.
