The Judge of Instruction Number 38 of Madrid called two Police National agents who participated in the arrest of music producer Nacho Cano last July.
In a court order, to which Europa Press had access, the judge summons the following February 27th two police officers from the National Police station in the District.
They are summoned in relation to the alleged commission of a crime of obstruction in the investigation of the events that led to the judicial proceedings in which Nacho Cano is being investigated for Supposed irregularities in hiring Mexican colleagues for the musical «Malinche».
The summons is part of the complaint filed by the students against the police at the Leganitos street in Madrid to continue the process in the role of witnesses.
The students reported the police on July 8th for «obstruction, threats, falsification of documents, and illegal detention,» acts that were supposed to have occurred on June 27th when the police took a statement.
According to their defense, These agents investigated the students for six months «without informing the judge or being subject to judicial oversight».
