Iberdrola has opened a new call for its ‘Master’s Scholarships’ for the 2025-2026 academic year, with an investment of over 1.2 million euros.
The registration process started last Wednesday and will remain open until April 4th, as reported by the group in a statement this Sunday.
The aim of this program is to promote excellence in the training of new generations and foster young talent by offering them the opportunity to train in activities related to electrification and renewable energy.
Iberdrola’s international scholarship program is aimed at graduates and final year university students, who can choose from a dozen top universities or technological institutes.
Among the educational institutions are the University of Edinburgh, Strathclyde, or Imperial College of London in the United Kingdom; the Pontifical University of Comillas or the Polytechnic Universities of Madrid, Valencia, and the Basque Country in Spain, among others.
Through this initiative, the company aims to enhance the professional qualifications of young people in the field of energy, with a special focus on areas of knowledge such as engineering, renewable energies, information technologies, sustainability, and ‘big data’.
Interested individuals can review all the conditions on Iberdrola’s corporate website and complete the application form in the ‘Work with us’ section.
In selecting candidates, in addition to academic records and language proficiency, other factors such as curriculum vitae, interest in the study project, and letters of reference will be considered.
To date, nearly 1,000 young people have had the opportunity to advance their professional careers by pursuing master’s and postgraduate studies and conducting research at prestigious international centers with the support of the Iberdrola Group.
For this edition, scholarships will be awarded to students in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Big Data, Cybersecurity, Information and Communication Technologies, Business Administration, and Digital Marketing.
