On July 17, 2025, Apple Arcade is making a big splash this summer with exciting crossover events and updates featuring SpongeBob SquarePants. Players can now participate in special crossover events with SpongeBob SquarePants in Snake.io+ and Crossy Road Castle, exclusively available on Apple Arcade. This limited-time event brings characters and locations from the iconic series into these popular games on the service. Fans of SpongeBob can also enjoy a new endless mode in SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit, where they can test their skills in increasingly challenging levels to compete for the top spot on the leaderboard.
Apple Arcade offers a collection of over 200 games and provides exclusive events in collaboration with top developers in the industry. Iconic characters and beloved games come to life on the service, adding a new level of fun for players without any ads or in-app purchases.
In Snake.io+ by Kooapps, players can dive underwater and complete missions to unlock unique skins inspired by SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, and Plankton. This limited-time event is available until August 25. Crossy Road Castle by Hipster Whale introduces a fun update where players can race through 40 Bikini Bottom-themed levels as SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, or Sandy. The Krabby Patty Kollectathon event starts on July 21, followed by the Jellyfish Jam from August 4 to August 17.
SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit by Nickelodeon offers a brand-new endless mode where players can navigate through dynamic levels, testing their skills with no checkpoints or extra lives to see who can reach the top of the leaderboard.
These exciting crossover events follow the special appearances of Bluey in Fruit Ninja Classic+ and Paddington in Crayola Create and Play+ this summer, exclusively on Apple Arcade.
Apple Arcade is available for $6.99 per month with a one-month free trial. Customers purchasing a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV receive three months of Apple Arcade for free. Additionally, Apple Arcade is included in Apple One’s Individual, Family, and Premier monthly plans, each with a one-month free trial.
Arcade Originals are playable across various Apple devices, and an Apple Arcade subscription grants a family of up to six members unlimited access to all games in the catalog. Availability of the 200+ games may vary based on hardware and software compatibility, and some content may not be accessible in all regions.
