A 71-year-old cyclist was injured on Friday in Santander after colliding his bicycle with a car which then hit two other parked vehicles causing material damage.
According to the Local Police, the incident took place at 4:50 p.m. on Aviche Street. The injured party was initially attended to by the members of the Accident Unit and later by health personnel from a 061 ambulance, who transferred him to Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital.
Also on Friday, a 29-year-old woman riding an electric scooter was taken to the hospital in Santander after being hit by the door of a van parked on Cardenal Cisneros Street, whose driver opened it just as she passed by.
