It is important to note that the Nintendo Switch preceded the Steam Deck and the influx of handheld gaming PCs in recent years, proving that players are willing to engage with high-quality games without being limited to their television screens.

Spotify finally shrugs off Apple’s Apple Store fees
A judge’s ruling this week may have finally ended Apple’s anti-competitive app commissions.
Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers found that Apple was exploiting loopholes to evade her previous ruling against the company. Companies are swiftly adjusting their payment systems outside of Apple’s closed environment, with Spotify being the latest to make these modifications.
With the most recent update now available on the App Store, the Spotify app includes external links to promote lower prices and different subscription tiers without sacrificing nearly a third of its revenue to Apple.
This potential change could have significant implications for the App Store ecosystem and Apple’s revenue stream. If implemented, developers would no longer have to allocate 30% of their iOS app earnings to Apple, potentially resulting in significant financial losses for the company. Spotify and Netflix are among the prominent companies that do not allow users to subscribe through their iOS apps due to Apple’s revenue share.

Netflix teases Squid Game’s final season
The third season of Squid Game is set to premiere on June 27.
Netflix has unveiled a teaser trailer for the final season of Squid Game, hinting at the resumption of the games following a failed uprising led by the protagonist, Seong Gi-hun, also known as Player 456.
In the teaser, Player 456 awakens in a room filled with players, enclosed in a coffin. As the games resume, players are divided into groups, a mother and son are separated, and intriguingly, a baby can be heard crying towards the end of the teaser.

How to watch Google I/O 2025 and The Android Show
For the first time, Google is hosting two separate events for its annual I/O developer conference. The classic I/O 2025 will commence on May 20, while a week earlier, on May 13, The Android Show: I/O Edition will showcase the latest Android updates.
