The last of the nine injured individuals involved in the off-track incident this Friday of one of the cars at the Rallye Festival de Hoznayo, who was admitted to the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital, has been discharged today.
According to the organization’s late afternoon report, the affected person was under observation, although without serious injuries, and has been discharged throughout the day.
One of the vehicles from the third section of the first day of the rally experienced an off-track incident on Friday when, in a curve, it spun around and lost control, hitting several spectators who were behind two red lines warning of a dangerous area.
The incident occurred after 8:30 p.m. in a section that runs along the N-651 in Entrambasaguas.
A total of nine people were evacuated to Valdecilla with bruises and anxiety attacks. In a statement, the organization stated yesterday that eight of the injured had been discharged and one remained under observation, leaving the hospital today.
