The government delegate in Andalusia, Pedro Fernández, criticized on Friday the «absolute institutional disloyalty» demonstrated by the President of the Junta, Juanma Moreno (PP), at the event where the titles of Favorite Sons and the Medals of Andalusia were awarded on the occasion of the 28th of February, accusing him of using his speech to «attack the Government of Spain based on unscrupulous lies.»
Fernández expressed his opinion on this matter through his social media account after Moreno demanded «fair funding» with «real euros» and not with «accounting illusions,» warning in the presence of the First Vice President of the Government and Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, that Andalusia «cannot accept something that does not solve any problems, if it means betraying the spirit of equality of February 28th.»
«It is shameful how Moreno Bonilla is using the institutions. Today he has shown that he uses the Junta, the event of the 28th of February paid with the money of all Andalusians, to attack the Government of Spain based on lies, without scruples and with absolute institutional disloyalty,» criticized Fernández, who was accompanied by Montero and the Minister of Agriculture, Luis Planas, at the event held at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville.
Several PSOE deputies in the Andalusian Parliament have also criticized Moreno’s speech at the event where the titles of Favorite Sons and the Medals of Andalusia were awarded on the occasion of the 28th of February, accusing him of turning it into a PP rally.
«My goodness, how nervous they are in the Andalusian PP. Moreno Bonilla seizes the institutional speech of the 28F to try to justify his refusal to reduce the debt by 19,000 million euros with false arguments,» posted the deputy and spokesperson for Health of the Socialist Group in the Andalusian Parliament, María Ángeles Prieto.
Even harsher was the deputy spokesperson of the Socialist Group and the new provincial secretary of the PSOE in Málaga, Josele Aguilar, who described Moreno’s speech as «reprehensible and shameful,» reproaching him for turning the 28F gala, «paid for with the money of all Andalusians,» into a PP rally.
In addition, he criticized Moreno for moving in his speech «from Blas Infante to Clavero Arévalo,» which, in his opinion, «shows to what extent he is willing to erase the recent history of our land.»
Other PSOE-A deputies highlighted the intervention of the communicator Manu Sánchez in defense of public health when receiving his Medal of Andalusia for Human Values. «This has been reality, real emotion from Manu Sánchez. Juanma Moreno has been an example of hypocritical virtuosity. What a charlatan the president of all Andalusians on Andalusia Day,» criticized the deputy for Seville, Rafael Recio.
