Lenovo has unveiled several new ThinkPads at the Mobile World Congress 2025, catering to business laptop enthusiasts with updated features and designs.
The most intriguing addition to the lineup is the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1, which boasts a convertible body similar to Lenovo’s Yoga laptops and is compatible with the magnetic Yoga Pen stylus. It offers a 14-inch, 400-nit WUXGA touch display, along with options for an Intel Core Ultra 7 H or U 200 series chip, 64GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 1TB of storage. For those who prefer a traditional laptop design, the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 and ThinkPad T14 Gen 6 now come with Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen AI Pro chips, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of storage.
The ThinkPad X13 Gen 6 is highlighted as one of the lightest ThinkPad models ever, weighing only 2.05 lbs. Despite its lightweight build, it packs a punch with options for an Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen AI Pro chip, up to 64GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and a choice of a 41Wh or 54.7Wh battery. The X13 Gen 6 also supports Wi-Fi 7 and optional 5G connectivity for on-the-go use.
Updates to the chipsets are also featured across the ThinkPad lineup. The ThinkPad E14 Gen 7 and E16 Gen 3 now support Intel Core Ultra 7 U or H 200 series chips and up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM, while the ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 maxes out at 32GB of RAM.
Lenovo plans to release most of the new ThinkPads this summer, with the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1, ThinkPad T14s Gen 6, and ThinkPad X13 Gen 6 set to launch in June 2025 at prices of $1,719, $1,674, and $1,139 respectively. The ThinkPad T14 Gen 6 and ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 will be available a bit earlier in May for $1,359 and $1,623. The ThinkPad E14 Gen 7 and E16 Gen 3 are expected to arrive in Q2 2025, priced at $849 and $859 respectively.
